Hi just being a B---H about the comments of the musicians!!!!SWV is a talented band and they know it because they are unique and have their own sound...which sometimes doesn't appeal to the masses.......but they are SWV.. They have their own identity .....there are many bands who have been misunderstood because they don't play certain commercial numbers and crowd pleasing numbers the people got all things to say and comment.... thats the problem with patrons.. they buy a bottle they expect a floor show....you don't do their song ?the band sucks!being a musician myself looking at the music scene in malaysia it boils down to.....short skirts ,better man,my way...where's my song la, the other band better la....soon for survival, all malaysian bands must play and learn the same music....then there will be no complaints anymore..
PS: LET'S BE DIFFERENT IN STYLE, FEEL, ENTERTAINMENT MUSIC......

Jonathan from S'pore... are you saying that SWV is of a different class as compared to all the other bands that play at this place, as well as Vijay, Albert and Bala??!! OMG.. then you're definitely wearing ear-plugs whenever SWV is on-stage cause to me, these are the magnificent trio and SWV pales in comparison when up with these guys. For a person who owns a pub in Singapore you're surely spending a lot of time in KL... and, mind the CAPS please cause when u type in CAPS it is considered RUDE!

Why cant people just be happy with what they have! All musicians are different in style, quality and appearance. SWV has their own style and so does JERICHO, therefore, you cannot compare one to the other as there is NO comparison! SWV will appeal to some people and JERICHO will as well, which explains the huge crowd every Fridays nights when JERICHO performs. Come on people!! If they are bad, they will not be a crowd-puller! THINK! I am no fan of SWV as I feel that their music is just too LOUD but that is only MY opinion. When Asians are given forum to express themselves, more likely 90 per cent would give their negative view point and not on the contrary!!

JERICHO is making a come back and I am GLAD! A lot of people share the same opinion as I do. Thank you Jerry. They are an excellent band and I hope they will stay for another year to come!! As for sex-appeal, JERICHO has loads of it!

enough la!!! all the bands in b'yard are good. why so kanchong one!! that's the problem with us malaysians....always got something to say about other people. why can't we just appreciate and enjoy the fact that we have so many good bands in the country. Forgive my LACK OF HYPOCRISY but i'm sick and tired off this rubbish. what these bands need is our support and encouragement. stop thinking like a third world nation. start behaving like human beings. Why all this animosity,guys? Makes me wonder if you guys really don't have anything better to do. People are entitled to their opinions. no need to get nasty..jonathan and leslie! it's obvious that s.w.v is heading in the right direction if they've already got pub-goers arguing about them. I think you guys (s.w.v) are really good entertainers and musicians. I was there last friday and i thoroughly enjoyed myself. I shall be coming to backyard on fridays from now on. Keep up the good work in employing quality bands like s.w.v,backyard!

Jonathan... are you trying to say that people who dont enjoy the kind of music you like are 'idiot's'?? That is NOT a nice thing to say. Everyone has a right to their opinion and just because it differs from yours does not give you the right to call them 'idiot's. SWV is cool, I like the music they play but I will never succumb to calling people names cause that is beneath me. Watch your mouth next time. Your 'personality' or the lack of it shows when you're at Backyard and I am not surprised either.

There is no need to apologise, vishnu. As far as i'm concerned, you guys have been nothing but fun and entertaining. It's a shame that you guys are leaving. It was really a breath of fresh air to have s.w.v around on fridays at backyard. I will be coming this friday. Please let me know where else you lads are playing. Hello to all.. Just read the comments.. Sorry if we suck and seem to put you guys to sleep.. I think this happens when we try new songs and do apologise for the mistakes aswell:) We are a good band and I don't believe we have played outside central market! If there is an opening, pls let us know:)
For those who don't like us, 'Yes' we are ending end of this month. For those who do, I'm sure we'll be back at sometime. Thanks for having us BACKYARD. It's been a blast.
